In this project, Woods provided various surveying services to assist Discovery Marine Limited (DML) with reservoir capacity surveys for local councils.

Woods Involvement 

Woods’ role involved a combination of UAV, terrestrial LiDAR, aerial LiDAR, and conventional surveying techniques.

This included analysis of the above water surfaces to complement the hydrographic survey component by DML.

Woods performance

While the contract was with DML, Woods was also interviewed by Watercare on our specialist involvement. The integration of our acquired data allowed DML to concentrate on this specialist activity without worrying about how to capture the bell mouth, intakes, dams, or exposed banks due to low water levels.
